  • VeryVisual | Appartment building exterior

    Hey Guys,

It has been a long time since i posted anything on the online forum's but finaly some new work from me. Here is my latest exterior still where the environment was very important to sell the building as realistic.

I hope you guys like it and any comments are welcome!

    Kind regards,

great job, my only crit is the birds...
lose them or shrink maybe as now they are appearing larger than some of the people on the decks...
              Very nice image, though!

@ glorybound: Everything is 3d except the person walking the dog! i had him in the foreground but the client thought it was to prominent in the picture.

@ Da_elf: Yes there is tiling but using a bigger map and manualy trying to reduce the tiling works... although some times it works better than other times.

@ voltron7: Hmmm i heard the same comment from a friend of mine. What i dont get is that the birds would be larger when they are closer to the camera just as in real life.... mabey the problem is that you cant estimate their distance to the camera and therefore the scale seems off?

Well thanks for the nice words an comments

i woudl place the birds so that one bird is in front of the building...this way it would be obvious that they are not too high

                    Good work, again.

                        I likie it
Two additional things I have noticed. There is no proper reflection in the water and I think that glass should be better, as at the moment it looks like transparent plastic without any difference between shaded and sunny side. Just my 2 coins
                        Regards
